I have over 16 years’ recruitment experience across a range of industries in Australia. I’ve worked for the Didasko Group (Computer Power Institute and Didasko Institute of Business) for a number of years and have seen many changes from both and IT and business perspective. Keeping my finger on the pulse of what is going on is paramount to understanding what employers are on the lookout for in a new hire.

I will guide and support you every step of the way throughout your search to gain a fantastic role! Working with you one-on-one, we will prepare your cover letters and résumé. I will teach you how to interpret job ads and where to find roles that aren’t advertised. We’ll talk about how recruitment agencies work (and how you can use this knowledge to your advantage!) I’ll teach you how to behave at a job interview and how to conduct yourself in a job and how to handle interview questions. We’re a job-hunting team, we support you through the ups and downs and we will help you to achieve your goals! I look forward to celebrating your new role with you - I have a bell I ring each time someone lands a role. My colleagues love hearing the bell and pop up like Meerkats, wanting to hear about and share in the celebration.

I commenced with the Didasko Group as a Research Writer & Subject Matter Expert, while I worked as a sessional lecturer. I loved the company so much, I soon moved into an ongoing role. From there, I progressed into managing strategic projects for the Group and now hold the position of General Manager - Education.

My career began in the hospitality industry in Cairns, Queensland. I worked in various four and five star hotels across a range of roles, including reception (Manager & Supervisor), reservations, night audit and HR/training and development. I saw first-hand the impact quality training and development could have on the individual and the business, and this inspired my career change.

After completing a Diploma in Teaching, I went on to do a Bachelor in Education and Training. I also have a Master of Business Administration (MBA), Cert IV in Training & Assessment and a Diploma of Hospitality.

I have extensive experience in curriculum development and teaching, from on-the-job training, online courses, classroom delivery – to lecturing, both in Melbourne and in China. My favourite topics include human resource management, leadership, managing diversity and business planning and strategy.

How I will help you

My position involves providing educational and strategic direction to the Didasko Group and my areas of responsibility include Computer Power, Didasko Institute of Business, Student Services, Career Placement and QA and Compliance.

My early hospitality training has never left me, and I’m passionate about providing quality customer service. I'm interested in your feedback and will work with the team to continually review all that we do, with the aim of providing you with the best education experience and help for you to achieve your career goals.
